[TheForge] Anyone own one of these? Opinions?

I have an Optrel that is solar powered, range is 9 to 13.  I do not
remember what I paid for mine, but it was not that much.  Get a solar
powered and a  good/name brand one.  A couple of students in a welding
class I was taking had  "lower end ones" and ended up with eye burns. One
of the guys almost lost sight in one of his eyes.  Both were battery
powered.  I know the battery gave out on one of them but do not know what
the problem was with the other one.  Look at quality rather than price.
Eyes can not be replaced as cheap.
