1)	Nice Leaves...I like the texture. What are Broussard tools? Could you
please forward a copy of the jpgs?
2)	Have anyone seen the book on making woodworking tools sold by Centaur
Forge? Any comments about the book? Anyone have any suggestions on other
resources for making woodworking tools. My brother is now interested in
wood turning and I thought I maybe able to make some tools for him. Also
interested in making draw knifes, froes, and other rought lumber tools.
Thank in Advance

Subject: [TheForge] repoussé leaves in progress

Some of you know that I already do a certain style of repoussé and chasing.
I'm pleased with my skill level on that technique, but am trying to add more
skills using thin-ish sheet metal. That's the best use of my skills and
time- with 2 small children, limited shop time, and a need for paying
commissions.

I'm self-teaching/learning repousséd acanthus style leaves currently.
Thanks to those of you who have sent me jpgs of Broussard tooling. I'm
still waiting for some video rentals to come in through LAMA, but this is
where I'm at with the technique right now.

I'm getting a good feel for the technique, but do not feel like I can create
every curve combination that I'd like. I'm also not getting the full
rounded effect that I'd like in some areas.

p.s. The drawing behind the leaves is not mine. I'm working for a designer
on this project.
