I played around using scrap steel for about 2 years and never used new steel
until I took a begining blacksmith class from The Guild of metalsmith. It
was the first time I ever used new steel. During the Class I learned that
certain steels work better for certain projects. After that I bought some
new steel steel for certain projects including some pure Iron and have
injoyed using pure iron the most because it works so easly.
