Will be glad to welcome you to SoCal, Gabriel.
I'm in Claremont, on the East edge of Los Angeles County.  When it comes to 
Local ordinances, think AQMD...
Air Quality Management District.  Thats one of the reasons why I use 
charcoal or propane. :^(
