I would recommend the Ryobi, assuming they are still made in a similar
fashion to the one I swear by. I bought one 7 years ago. The vise wore
out so I bought another vice. Then I decided I needed a second one so I
could have a straight cut and preset cut for large scale multiple cuts.
For the second unit I bought a Ridgid. I burned it up in three months,
along with a second Ridgid. I ended up buying another Ryobi, and now
the Ridgid is religated to being taken onto job sites for light duty
work.
That's my two cents.......
