What are you looking to cut off? Many of us here are hobbyists, but our
hobbies can range from balsa wood, to pieces of construction I-beam or
larger.

If you're just looking for something cheap to cut occasional pieces of no
more than, say, 1/2 inch bar stock, Harbor Freight might have a tool to suit
your needs. If you're remodeling aircraft carriers, you might need something
a bit bigger ;-)

And don't laugh- I wouldn't put ANYTHING past these guys.
