[TheForge] digital cameras

I think a better camera is the Canon A60.
The Nikon does not have any focus assist light for low light situations while
the A60 does.

I've compared both, as well as a few other cameras.
The other cameras in the running for the same price only have digital zooming
(as opposed to 3x optical zooming on the A60).

I am looking at the Nikon Coolpix 2100 for $199.99. there is a review
here http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/CP2100/CP21A.HTM

This camera doesn't seem to have a viewfinder (other than the lcd
screen). Is this a disadvantage in sunny locations and will this cause
the batteries to wear down faster? Does anyone have this camera?

Any comments appreciated.

Bob
