My point about old George the first (Washington that is) is that it is 
a curious coincidence that our rulers always end up being rich guys. I 
am not in any way impugning George Washingtons patriotism or moral 
fiber- but he had the $5000 to give to the troops. The guys who didnt, 
somehow, never ended up President.

And as far as the breakdown of congressmen goes- its interesting that 
all of the veterans in there dont count as "military guys" but somebody 
who has a law degree, but doesnt work as a lawyer is counted as a 
"lawyer".

Being a lawyer is not enough to get you elected to congress. You have 
to be a rich lawyer.
