Larry,
Just read this article the other day from an Australian site. He's a writer
who does a lot of equipment reviews,
and has written many reviews on his site on a wide range of inexpensive
digital cameras as well as the new Canon
digitals.Worth a look.
I,m using a 3 year old Nikon coolpix950. It's a pretty nice camera that can
now be found,  used ,for about half
what I paid for mine. People are starting to replace their first generation
digital cameras with newer or larger ccd's.
After Christmas should be a good time to haunt the used camera stores.
