I use a Nikon, very user friendly. Canon is also an excellent choice.
Get something that fits in your pocket. You'll use it more.
I have a nice 35mm camera that's too bulky to carry easily
and I hardly used it. I used a small cheap 35mm camera instead.
So when I changed to a digital camera I went with small rather than bigger.
