Hey there Chuck, my wife regularly uses 30mm needles that are 6" long on
cows and horses.
Acupuncture needles come in a variety of sizes. Your right about disposing
of them properly
after use. They should be treated like any used sharps, disposed of
immediately where
they will pose no risk to anyone.
