I have a customer who wants a water sculpture, Ive offered to do it in steel and copper plate it so it patinates over time, question is how well does plating handle being wet??? if the plating is thick enough could I say 10 years to him??? he initially asked for it to be done in copper but I dont fancy the learning curve to forge a new material, or should I just dive in?
