A mix that I have used since anti borax company sold out is 1 part Boric
Acid to 4 parts Borax (by volume).  You do not need any other additives.  I
also use grocery store borax, the anhydrous that you get from a chemical
supplier is expensive and as soon as you open the bag it takes on moisture,
so is no longer anhydrous.
