I used to haul larger freshly welded pieces down into the surf on a 
gravely beach...way less work than sandblasting...when i hauled them 
out, they'd rust, whether I wanted them to or not.
I suppose my equvalent  question is, does anybody know an easy and 
convient way to avoid a rust finish?.........Pete F
