Sounds good to me.
I measured today, and it looks like trying to work a 10' piece of anything in
that little shop is going to be out of the question.

Horseshoes are bent on the edge, tires on the flat (at least to my
undrstanding).  I usually end up bending a spiral as I bend enough to judge
how too tight I started and have to back bend the tighter sections.  I liked
Phil's comment to do it on a flypress, it would give very consistent nudges.
perhaps could actually calculate the spread of the stationary posts and the
depth of the moving post with a drawn radius, give or take a little for the
spring of the cold steel.  Know anyone willing to experiment with their
brand-newly acquired flypress for the cost of a beer???? Lemme know ;)
