[TheForge] welding heat

I got  pair of the Didymium/gold glasses, but they were defective.
The dye layers were severely separating on one lens.
The guy was such a jerk about my returning them, I just asked for a refund.

I don't get as much chance to forge-weld as I'd like, since I don't get as much
chance to blacksmith as I like.

I did do a lot of research before finding out that #3 shades provide all the
protection I needed, and they aren't as "fragile" as the gold coated didymium
glasses.

Glad the welding shield works for you.
How much forge welding do you do?
Have you ever  tried a Didymium/gold face shield?
