[TheForge] Fw: Waste Oil heater

The waste oil burners I've fooled with were of 2 types.
One sprayed the oil ,preferably heated, under pressure into the
airstream which went into the initial firebox.
The other dripped oil infront of the blower outlet , into the upper
end of a gently sloped , 6" well casing. There was a 2" dam across
the bottom of the casing which ended in the initial firebox. The well
casing got a little shorter each firing.
Both started on lighter fuel.
House oil-furnace burners look a lot like a ready made to this
pyromaniac's eye
I found that once the preheat was done, a real rude set up worked.
If you see a lot of thick, heavy brown smoke filling up your forge....
don't turn on the blower, instead...........run like hell! Pete

Thanks all for the Hoffi Hammer fill in.
