Greetings,

I wouldn't really call myself a blacksmith(my traditional skills are
very limited), but I sometimes use a Tom Clark made Uri Hoffi( I've been
told) style hammer. It is cross pien, square face with relieved edges,
beautifully polished, about 18-20 oz.(can't remember) with a short
rectangular rather than oval shape to the handle. It set me back $100,
expensive , but I feel it is worth it. I picked it up and fooled with
it at Gershners last hammer in and it grew on me real quickly. I
thought that I would have to sand the handle to make it more oval, but I
got used to the unusual shape very quickly. I love the hammer and will
buy another, slightly more heavy to go with it. BTW, you couldn't find
a more pleasant man than Tom Clark to deal with. It's obvious that he
takes great pride in what he makes and stands behind it.

Regards,
