[TheForge] weld question

Chuck and all hands: Good piece of advice, Chuck. The great Art Deco
smith, Edgar Brandt, embraced all new technologies and was one of the first
to use the "autogenous welding gun" (oxy-acetylene torch) around 1913.
Anyone who has seen Brandt's work could never fault his aesthetic or
craftsmanship.

It is important to know the old ways, as sometimes they are the best
solution, but never willfully choose ignorance of technology. Tradition
should get a VOTE but not a VETO.

                                    Grant Marcoux
