[TheForge] weld question

After working through this first one today, I may decide to go another route.
After all the stretching and swaging, I ended up working a piece which is
nearly 6' long.
A bit unwieldy, but the worst problem is that I ran out of room between the
anvil and forge.
I didn't expect to be working anything this size in this little smithy.
I may decide to go with 3 separate pieces in the long run.
I may even totally redesign it.
After we test the ergonomics of this first one, things may have to change.

Bob,

In his own way I think Dan is suggesting that you could do much like
Phlip and I suggested but Mig weld it.  I didn't suggest it cause I
don't have a Mig/Tig/Stick/Gas welder or know how to use them...yet.
