One other thing..... may be silly sounding but.... Aside from all the
saftey issues also make sure she really wants this. ALso let her set the
'pace' in other words let her decide how far to go. She might either
want to stop before you are done. 
Also talk with her about what she feels she can do. I know parents
freinds etc will say one thing and she might know that she can do more,
or less.
I have a good friend who has MS. And he can no longer smith but I also
know that often his wife will stop him from doing some things. Not due
to saftey issues but becasuse she feels he can not do it. But I then see
him do the very thing she felt he could not. So with that said talk with
her and her dad. Also I am sure you will do this but I will say it
again. explain what is to be done. Demo it for her and her dad(monitor)
Walk her thru it cold... then let her have fun.
