Ray,
We used to use Floor Sweep in shop class many moons ago. I always thought
that it's main function was to put the red color on the floor so you could
see were you have already swept. Though I have noticed that just plain saw
dust does help get up the coal dust that settles on our floor. It seems to
keep it from getting air born again.

Contact a janotorial supply house. There is another product that looks a lot
like red saw dust. I have used it before. It is called Floor Sweep, or
something like that. I believe it has wax or something in it to attract the
duct.
