I would go for the B3 if your budget will stand it.

B3 will cut all those nice curvy shapes for which it was designed in
16ga. really easily.  It will cut 1/8" m/s easily too but the sharp
(especially inside) curves are hard, not because the shear won't cut
1/8" easily but because you have to flex the stock along that helical
frame.

I stumbled over mine in a used machinery yard while traveling and at
a time when the list price was way beyond my means.  After much
dithering, blew my travel money on it, picked up some cord and a
suitcase handle at a nearby hardware store and carried it home on the
Greyhound and ferry as hand luggage.  One of the best decisions ever.
