Think of it like the air curtain at a
shopping mall. The air stream in this
case comes up from the floor {it is
simpler this way) perpendicular to the
dragon breath coming out of the forge.
The hot flue gasses from the forge are
entrained in the curtain and sent up. I
can comfortably hold my hand within a
foot of the forge opening not and still
have hair on the back of my hand.
