  Look in the phone book for Colorado Springs and see if you can find Steve Linch, he runs a Blacksmith shop in Colorado Springs and has been known to help new students.  If you have trouble contacting Steve contact me off list and I will get a hold of him and give him your name and number.  Building gas forges is not that hard and I would be glad to assist you with that if you can make it to Keenesburg for a day or two.  I am in the north part of Colorado , NE of Denver by 36 miles.
