[TheForge] Earthlink.com Subscriber problems

For the remaining Earthlink subscriber and any of you who have friends 
using Earthlink, we have been having a continuing problem with Earthlink.

Just to update you on the situation with Earthlink:

On all the lists on qth.net we have many Earthlink subscribers....probably 
several thousand. Earthlink in their effort to control spammers will only 
accept 15 e-mails from our mailman server and then refuses connections to 
all others. What this does is build a large queue, which tries to flush and 
then again sends 15 messages then is denied so the queue grows and grows 
and most users never get the messages as they never make it to the top of 
the list. Many Earthlink messages show up days after they are posted if ever.

We have spent many man hours trying to get Earthlink to work with us on 
this but so far no joy. They do not seem to care if they indeed even 
understand what they are doing. The folks who do understand what they are 
doing are not accessible to us via phone or e-mail.

So, if any of you have heard things from other Earthlink members, you now 
know the rest of the story.
