Yeah, I've thought about that, and I've been looking at things both ways.
The trouble is, if you buy a commercial trailer, they're set up for how MOST
people would use them, not necessarily for how YOU would use them. The other
problem is that too often people who build trailers take less expensive
short cuts, so you never really know, for example, how well protected it is
against rust, until it starts rusting.

What I want to find is a good, solid double axle set up, which uses standard
14 or 15 inch tires and good brakes. If I can find that, then I can
construct my dream trailer, designed the way _I_ want it. My intention is a
modified 4 horse trailer, set up with room for two horses, or 1 horse and
equipment (actually, I'm seriously thinking about a mule).
