I find myself trying to dissuade customers from using powder coat. 1. because you cannot join it by site welding without compromising the finish 2. because if you do chip it you can't fix it I dislike it when the subject comes up, because these 2 arguments seem to alienate some customers and then I lose the job. I am trying to move towards selling bare steel and put the finish question in their court.
