Thats what Im doing with railings this week, use a good zinc undercoat and
paint it to match. I just wire wheel off the powder.

heres a tip,
to get a matt powdercoat which is impossible using any powder available here
in Aussie, I get a double coating of black, its called matt but its very
glossy, then I give that a very light sandblast and they come up looking
nice and matt, means you can even paint the powder coat because the paint
has something to key into, I often do a dry brush technique over the black.
