One suggestion though . . .

While opening up separate windows for the large photos is a good idea, you 
might want to open them in html pages with back / "gallery" buttons and a 
button to go directly to the next photo.  The code for this type of page is 
easy to do, and makes the gallery a easier to navigate since you aren't 
having to close the photo window to get back to the gallery to select the 
next image.

This also allows you to give your wonderful photos better presentation.
