Frosty, do you use a flared burner nozzle? I'm going to try casting mine
in my next forge. I was also thinking of a T arrangement such as your,
but with a 3/4" tube. I've got no lathe, but I might be able to keep it
square enough on the drill press. Is 1" that much improvement?

One thing about the side-arm - It's really easy to play with jet sizes.
I just unscrewed the plug and pulled the entire assembly out, swap out
jet, screw plug back.
