[TheForge] magic tumblers

Bike chain sounds a little light, although with some belts and pulleys you could accomplish much the same thing. The alignment might not be so critical, either. The name of the game is to scavenge as much as you can. I've seen junked garage door openers complete with chain drive gear reducers that could be easily modified to mount to a shaft. The RPM is right where you want it with these units, too.
I kind of like a bicycle/tumbler combo idea: Cut the rear triangle out of a bicycle frame then put your tumbler drum where the back tire was. Grab a book and excercise to your heart's content! Variable speed, too.

Hey all,
A lot of people are giving me adiver about what to use for my tumbler
body (drum, tank, even tires). I need to know how to make it spin. I have
tried a a bike chain on a oil drum but I couldn't get it lined up right. The
chain kept falling off. Is there an easy way to make the thing roll?
