[TheForge] Attaching railing to hollow brick

Just a query as to what others use for mounting to hollow brick? here in
Australia the standard (made by ramset) is to use epoxy and a hollow plastic
insert with the stud going into the plastic insert. The epoxy is squeezed
into the insert and when the stud goes in the epoxy gets pushed out some
holes in the insert so it can bond with the brick. Ive never liked it, the
plugs dont seem to have enough or big enough holes and I dont see that it
can get as good a bond as say epoxy a hole and a stud might. Just wondering
what other people use?
