I have found that there is very little WD-40 wont remove. we use it all the 
time for removing adhesive backed labels, stains etc.  Its safe for 
plastics and we just clean up the WD-40 with alcohol or Windex with ammonia.

For dry erase marks that have been on the board a while, just go over the 
mark with a dry-erase marker and wipe it all off (before it drys again)... 
Works great.
