Dave,
Try 91% (or 100%) isopropyl alcohol, or methanol (sold as fuel for racing =
cars, or for water-in-the-gas-tank problems in cold-weather areas. Just =
be careful to wear gloves if you use methanol (=3D methyl alcohol =3D wood =
alcohol) as it can be absorbed through the skin and is moderately =
poisonous.

Thanks to all for the responses. I have one of these white boards in =
the=20
shop but haven't used it in quite a while. I left some drawings on it =
and=20
now they won't come off. I've tried alcohol, turpentine, ammonia and =
even=20
vinegar and nothing seems to touch the old and aged stuff. I was =
hoping=20
there was a way to just paint over it and save the board. I guess not. =
I=20
may have to breakdown and get another one. Or maybe get a blackboard =
and=20
use colored chalks.
