Thanks to all for the responses.  I have one of these white boards in the 
shop but haven't used it in quite a while.  I left some drawings on it and 
now they won't come off.  I've tried alcohol, turpentine, ammonia and even 
vinegar and nothing seems to touch the old and aged stuff.  I was hoping 
there was a way to just paint over it and save the board.  I guess not.  I 
may have to breakdown and get another one.  Or maybe get a blackboard and 
use colored chalks.
