[TheForge] Brazing vs welding

I'll start by saying that I have never forge brazed Dave, although I did recently have a situation where brazing (with a torch) was the perfect answer. I had a railing element that was shaped like an "S" on it's side. Laid side by side, it formed a nice repeating squiggly shape throughout the piece. Question was how to join the elements w/out nasty bird-poop welds, etc., etc. I wanted to maintain visual continuity and give the joining finial a 'floating' look without having weld fillets ruin the feel for me.
The braze worked perfectly and as you are aware, is strong as heck.
Take a look, it's the last entry on the 'work' page in the photo-site.
