Ralph,

Follow all your dimensions but the "strip width 0.45 cm, thickness 0.25 
cm"   What's this referring to?  If its the center strip the dimensions 
don't seem right.   From the pictures and sketches the center strip 
between the grid rods appears wider and thinner than the grid rods. Am 
planning on making these 2 strips 3/4" by 1/8" (That would be 1.9 cm by 
.3 cm)
