This just made me wonder how well contact cement holds up
in heat. That's a lot of heat for a lot of years. I'm not
at all convinced it will last, but I may be wrong. You might
want to give a company like 3M a call and ask what they might
recommend for such an application. You'd hate to have to come
back to redo the job in two years.

If you cut using the plasma arc, you have no such problems.
