Oh thou smiths of greater mastery than me: I'm really enjoying the way
lacquer (from a rattle can) brings out the colors of forged steel and
preserves them.
Before I use it on pieces for sale, maybe I better ask if there are any
hidden booby traps or drawbacks to using it- does it discolor or react to
anything as time goes on?
