Not that the information would be out of date, but that was quite a while 
ago and not necessarily and readily available to most.  Heck, that was 
written before some of the younger blacksmiths and aspiring blacksmiths 
were on this planet.

So, just because something's been done, doesn't mean it shouldn't be done 
again and updated.  Heck, sometimes just writing the same stuff but in a 
different style changes the whole thing and might make something that was 
unfathomable to someone at one time seem logical and obvious.

I don't know if you meant "it's been done, so don't bother doing it again" 
or not.  It's just that the way you wrote it seemed to suggest that, or at 
least it did for me.

So, Harry, I anxiously await your article, in part because more good 
pointers will help me, and in part because I don't have a copy of the (ca) 
1979 AR.  <friendly smiles>
