There is a material sold under the name Ceramit. It is a two part "synthetic enamel", available in many colors. The two parts are mixed, the material is set into or onto whatever you want 'enameled' and then it is fired in ann electric stove at 200 degrees. The result looks like traditional enamel and is within one rockwell point of fired glass enamel. I have used it on bronze and steel. G Dixon aka GD Blacksmith
