[Rafter Lazy C]

Alright guys and gals, I finally let a picture of myself out to the public.
This was one of the few rare times when I was not hiding behind the camera.
This was also a few years ago when I was still thin.  About a year later Lem
ran me into a fance post and I messed up my back real good.  Spent 6 months
doing almost nothing but growing my belly.  Didn't have the operation
though.  My father did.  At 57 he had a disk break into pieces.  The Dr.
didn't get them all out.  Swore he was right.  After 2 months in the
hospital another Dr. stepped in and took the rest of the pieces out.  They
had migrated down the spinal column and eroded nerves that don't grow back.
Messed him up permanently.  Hasn't worked since, and now 74 years old.  Been
a long painful struggle for him.  I am determined not to get so messed up
that I have to get that operation.

Wind storm took out my chimney from my forge this spring.  Need to get to
that, but don't move so fast any more.  Been about 5 years now, and better
every day, although I don't always notice it.  Am learning to live with the
thought that i can't do something right when I want it done.  I'll get to
it, but not this year, i don't think.  Too many other things going on.  Got
my son married off last weekend.  Drank more champaigne than I ever have
before, and never felt drunk.  That was Saturday nite.  Tuesday afternoon, I
still had a headache.
