To All,
My father was in the fleet on its way to Japan when the war was ended. So in theory, if the bombs were not used, I may not be here.
Anyway...
I was at the Tokyo-Edo Museum in Tokyo about 6 years ago now. It traces the history of Tokyo form warlord days to modern Tokyo. THE only mention of WW2 was a small corner that had bits and pieces of B-29's and a description of the destruction caused by the raids. No mention of the rape and pillage of China, no mention of the atrocities carried out on POW's, no mention of Pearl Harbor, ad nauseum.
I pray that I do not have a racist bone in my body but the self righteous indignation of the Japanese people over their alledged victimization during WW2 pisses me off. If we had a third bomb, we should have used it.
