   I have been hearing that for that long too.  Just in the last few
weeks, I heard a pair of geologists saying that they think they are
wrong about how oil is created and that some reserves are not
reserves, they are active production sites of our earth.  Not too hard
to imagine flammables being driven off of molten core material and
floating up into pockets we have assumed were just trapped oil.

   Really hard for me to imagine enough dinosaurs dying close enough
together to form a massive pool of oil.
