I'm not sure infinite heat range is such an amazing deal as that. I'd 
lots rather have more amps. If you get into a 250A mig, you can do spray 
welding (I realize they are lots more money). Spray is excellent. The 
frying bacon noise drops to a quiet hiss, and you can put down an 
amazing amount of metal. It has been a long time since I used my stick 
welder, now that I have a high current mig.
