[TheForge] Lamp cord and heat generation

I have a request from another blacksmith to make a rope with a three wire
(i.e. ground wire included) lamp cord in it's center. He plans on using it
to hang a light fixture from a hay truck in a converted barn type
home. The rope is to be run through pulleys and/or blocks keeping the
original barn and hay hoist look without visible wiring. Making the rope
with the wire core isn't the problem. It's the heat insulating property of
the rope. The light fixture will incorporate two (2) 100w light bulbs.
The question: Will there be enough heat generated in the cord when on that
could cause a fire hazard with natural fiber (sisal) rope wrapped around it
and insulating it from normal heat dispersal?
