[TheForge] Using the Web for Business

Greetings,

 I am trying to determine how successful blacksmiths and metal artists
feel the web is as a advertising medium. A lot of small businesses are
using the web to target existing customers for continued business, but
are having mixed success using web sites as a method of attracting new
customers.

 If this is off topic for the list you can reply to me directly, but I
would like to hear stories both of success and failures, web pages you
think are especially successful and other comments and observations.
