[TheForge] firescreen finish

There have been several discussions in the past about what makes a good 
finish for a fireplace screen (i.e. paint vs clear coat vs oil/was, 
etc....)  I only paid part attention but now have a need to know.

So, I'm wondering, where did we end up and what type of finish to put on 
one. The old standby oil/wax or something different.
