Is the president of the blacksmith association in east Tennessee. Send him
an email for details.

Their association, like ours here in Alabama, along with most of the
southeastern US chapters of ABANA, was thrown out of ABANA last year, so I
don't know if they are the answer to your question concerning an ABANA
Affiliate. But, I assure you all the ex-chapters have prospered in the last
year without ABANA and you will meet and learn from some top-flight
blacksmiths at their local meetings. We didn't seem notice the difference in
being or not being an ABANA chapter.

Bruce is a great guy and a good blacksmith; you are lucky to live in east
Tennessee where you can attend their meetings.

If you live near Alabama we have local forges in Athens, Huntsville, and
just over the Alabama line neat Chattanooga TN. Send me an email if you are
interested in attending our monthly meetings and I will hook you up with our
forgemasters.
